In Episode 75 below, we talk about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We kick off our Star Wars episode with a Spoilerpiece prequel: the origin story of Kris Jenson’s love affair with burritos. Thankfully it’s much shorter and funnier than the ones George Lucas did. After that, we discuss a very kind email we received from a fan in France. Then we head right into the main event by reviewing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a film which miraculously all of them have seen. All three of us really like it, so we dig in deep to talk about why we think it works so well. Things get pretty spoilerific, so only tune in if you’ve seen the movie or you can handle it. You’ve been warned.

Spoilerpiece Theatre Episode 75: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
“Spoilerpiece Theatre” is a weekly movie podcast where I talk about new releases with fellow BOFCA critics Dave Riedel and Kris Jenson. We don’t give a shit about spoilers. We just want to talk about the movies.

I was thrilled by The Force Awakens. I'm a Abrams sceptic so it was nice to see him come through so wonderfully!
